Our Columnists: Selma Mosquera

We celebrated the arrival of Selma Mosquera to join our team of columnists.

Selma is Spanish-Brazilian, married, has two beautiful children and lives in the District of Lisbon, Portugal.

A woman with many skills and dedicated to noble and important causes for the society. She works as CEO at Northear, is President at the Board of the Association of Migrants of Torres Vedras (AMTV) / Portugal, and is a researcher at the Center for Administration and Public Policies (CAPP), at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) of the University of Lisbon.

A professor at the Visconde de Cairu Foundation – Salvador, Brazil, she also has two great passions: Human Development and Management.

Her vast academic-professional trajectory includes, among others:

1) PhD in course, in Human Resource Development / Entrepreneurship Policies;

2) Master in Human Development;

3) Specializations in Human Resource Development and Organizational Management;

4) Bachellor’s Degree in Social Work and Management;

5) Coordination of Undergraduate and Post-graduate Programs;

6) Management of the NE-Brazil Programs of the NGO Suzan Komen (USA)

7) Direction of the Sector of Development and School Management at SEDUC / Alagoinhas-Ba-Brasil.

With over 20 years of experience, she has developed expertise in: People Management; Entrepreneurial Education; Migrant Entrepreneurship, Social Management; Teaching and Learning; Knowledge management; T&D; Strategic Planning; Recruitment and Selection; Emotional Education; Career Management; Mentoring; Motivation and Leadership.
