We are living in a decisive moment for cities and for humanity. Urban challenges — climatic, social, technological, and human — demand more than isolated solutions. They call for a systemic vision, collective awareness, and collaborative actions that place people at the center of development.
It is in this context that the IV Smart Cities, Happy Citizens World Summit 2025 (SCHCWS 2025) takes place—an international gathering that will bring together experts, researchers, public leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and engaged citizens committed to building smart, healthy, inclusive, and happy cities.
The Summit will be held from November 26 to 29, 2025, in Salvador, Brazil, in a hybrid format (in-person and online). The event is promoted by Abayomi, in partnership with the Abayomi Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research, education, and the promotion of smart environments, well-being, and happiness.
2025 Theme: Cities of the Future – Overcoming Challenges
The program has been carefully designed to foster deep reflection while also offering practical and inspiring pathways to address today’s urban challenges.
